How did you lose your best friend?

How did you lose your best friend?

I did not lose her, she was stolen.

It is summer. Just a few days ago, we snuck to the city pool and went swimming. Oh MAN, I got into trouble because of that, but we didn't care. I'm 8 years old, she is 9 years old and everything she has lit up the world. Not just for me, for everyone.

After that, she just left.People started annoying rumors about her family. People and their brothers look for her. My father stopped at home on weekends and my sisters were banned from telling me that it was because he was in search parties.

I was sent to the school therapist more than once. I remember sitting in a handmade wardrobe cutting paper snowflakes with another of her friends. Now I wonder if we will be withdrawn at the same time for other reasons that are not therapeutic.

I started carrying a detective business card and I could no longer leave the house alone, because she and I looked so similar that people called the police whenever they met me in public. My mother also started carrying business cards for the detective. I'm sure other children suffer, but the difference is that whenever someone calls the police to think I'm her, they remind me that my best friend is missing.

A year later at the state fair, her face is everywhere. Plaster on posters and buttons they gave to attendees. I did very well in 4H that year. I had a couple of matches with Vikings, which I now realize are panic attacks, just at the fair - and if you're a 4H kid, you know there's no home, because So I was stuck at the age of 9 and the adult breast height stares at the buttons everyone wears. On their chests.

A few months later, it was the hunting season and someone looking for the deer stumbled upon the human skull with a few bullet marks in it. Dental sealing profile agreement. She was gone.

6 months later, my family moved to a new state and I was trained in teaching English to her. To change her position in my memories, and ignore my feelings. I just made friends. I pretend that this experience has changed my life. And to this day, I have never learned how to grieve in a truly Catholic way.

In 2002, 14 years after she was kidnapped and murdered, the man who did that was eventually arrested. It took 4 years to condemn him. And I sometimes go online to make sure he's still in prison.

In a few months, she will turn 39. I held a party for her and we celebrated at the end of her thirties. Instead, next year will be thirty years she's missed.

I lost my best friend because some perverted ass thought that killing a 9-year-old light was fine.

*** Edit: Because many of you have asked: her name is Dolana Clark. She was born and died in Great Falls, Montana. Her assassin named Wilfred, Bill Bill Morrisey, and he was in prison all his life. He was arrested for 14 years because the case became cold. There was an episode of Unusual Discovery about Investigation about it doing its best to be honest and not exaggerated.
